day 41
the 2nd last day of the trip arrived with me waking up super late and nothing much to be done except to pack finish and to weigh our luggage and hand carrier tonight at 9pm.
After much perseverance, packing is finally done for me. And when the ICT people came back from their zoo visit, I went to have dinner with Xue Bin, Chris and Brice for the last time at the western restaurant, which newly opened again after its renovation. The rest of others (Millison, Wenliang, Tony and so on) they went to Zhen Gong Fu for their last dinner being in Wuhan University.
When 9pm arrived, Dr Tan came with the weighing balance and I helped him to record everyone's luggages and hand carriers' weights. Luckily noone exceed the maximum weight. Plus because it is the last night in our dorm, most of us did not sleep much but stayed up to have fun.
day 42
Morning of day 42 arrived, our last day in Wuhan. We all got ready to bring our luggages and bags down to the lobby and later up to the bus. One hour plus journey to the airport to take the plane to GuangZhou.

Reflections:On the 2nd last day, I had mixed feelings as sort of will miss being in wuhan, eating all the food and hanging out with the usual friends and new friends made during the trip, however also miss being back in Singapore, with my family and other friends.
The journey to be back in Singapore was kind of tiring as we had to carry all our bags and our luggages from places to places, hence most of us wished that we quickly reached our destination. True enough, we reached earlier than expected at around 10.30pm instead of 11pm. As the plane landed in Singapore, there are applause and hurray among us. I guess to welcome all of us back to our home country and to congratulate all of us for what we had done, learnt and experienced throughout the 42 days.
Then it was time for goodbyes as some of us wanted to go out of the customs so to see our loved ones. When I went out of the customs, the people I looking forward to meet are my parents of cause. After we were about to leave, suddenly a group of close friends (yingli, jamie, elias, jowell, shaun) came and went "shhhh". hahahas. I was touched that they came and welcomed me, millison and others back to Singapore. (:
Soon it was time for more goodbyes as I needed to go home. However, one thing for sure for the 19 of us who went on the trip, including Dr Tan, we would not be strangers like we used to be and memories created among us will still be there for us to remembered and recalled.
Thanks for all the lovely times, for these 42 days together! *big hug*
