Day 23 of this trip's programme was to attend a leadership training programme conducted by the military people here in Wuhan University

This is the place we done out activities at, with words that we should achieve of ourselves being here to do the activities

We were to create our own identity, name and flag as a group. Ernest was the leader.

This is our instructor at the activity "Trust Fall", which is one which one person will fall backwards from a certain height and instead of falling onto the floor backwards, the person will fall in the arms of the rest of the people in the group. The falling backwards is when you have to trust the people below who are ready to catch you.

These are the people who will catch the person falling

All the groups together with their flags raising high (four groups in total)

Our group discussing on our stratgies to win the game similar to "scissors paper stone". This signifies teamwork.

After lunch, we were to be back to the same place and this time, our group were to attempt the rock wall. Hence, we had to rock climb, except for me since my shoulder is injuried.

Me climbing the rock wall with my shoes, bag and without harness. You believe or not? It is true I climbed but only a short height. Because the correct way of rock climbing up to the top is with harness for safety, without the bag and shoes.

Reflections:It is kind of fun being through a leadership camp here in China because never been in one in China before, unlike being in one in Singapore.
For "Trust Fall", the main purpose is to be able to trust your group people. Trust is important in many aspects of life. This activity can teach us to trust and be more confident not only in yourself but also in other people. Though I did not attempt this activity here in China, back in Singapore I tried before and fell back twice the height of what was like here. The feel was great with the few seconds breeze that could be felt. At that moment, I did feel abit scared but I know I can trust whoever who will be catching me.
High elements is something I would not try even if my shoulder is not injuried because I have the fear of heights. Fear of heights is something hard to overcome, which I myself cannot overcome it very well though I now able to slowly see what is down there at greater heights without feeling much fear. Though rock climbing also has the presence of heights, for this, I am not scared. Instead, I love rock climbing, which is like a challenge to oneself to reach to the top of the wall. Because there is the presence of harness and I am able to grab to the wall, my fear of heights does not take place I guess. I know I am safe even if I will to look down at greater heights. It was sad not being able to rock climb here as it has been sometime since I rock climbed plus I have not tried rock climb up a wall with curve. However, I must keep my own safety in mind and not to get injuried further, hence I believed I made the correct decision of not rock climbing.
Sometimes in life, you have to give and take, where you may lose something but in turn you get something more worthwhile.
