Day twenty-one
IS module lesson was being held by Mr Philips An, the Dean of the Foreign Language School. Hence we presented ourselves more formally to attend his class. His lecture to us was about Chinese Traditional Thoughts, which is more focused on Confucianism for this day. Taoism and Buddhism will be continued the next lecture when he will be teaching us again.

He is one teacher who taught us, whom has fluent English. Hence there isnt a communication barrier between us students and him. Throughout the whole lecture, he shared with us stories and some history of China, focusing mainly on Confucianism, as I had said.

Reflection:

Confucianism was said to be the basis of Chinese education in China, however there are a few people who we can find who are like what described in Confucianism. Such gentlemen are rare to find already i believe unless the men want to make a difference and prove to themselves they can be better people and be gentlemen; a challenge for them to achieve.

One story that caught my attention is about someone who can fish even without a hook and bait. This shows that the fishes which are caught, are willing to be the victims when they actually can continue to survive and move forward. Therefore, for survival, we got to experience and learn more so that we would not become willing victims but strong-willed warriors. Persevere to the end and not give up easily will enable us to grow stronger and learn from our mistakes. And when it is time to get fished (facing any situations in life), you are ready to fight against it and learn from it.
