Again, another blackout happened today. This time round was unlike last time as we had to do something else to get through the blackout unlike the time when we off to wudang shan. The worse part was we actually were doing our presentation slides and the blackout happened.
And for lecture, luckily it still able to go on with some laptops fully charged and having discussions after lecture. Halfway the lessons, the electricity came back on.

Anyway, a special programme was planned for today, which was student interaction with the local students. It is organised by the local students themselves. Thank you for the effort. (:

It was held at a room
that looks like this. Quite nice.
The activities are a combination of games and singing
me and judy - one of the local students (:
The snacks provided
This is my number I picked. If it and its colour are called, I supposed to go up to play the game stated.
The atmosphere created when lights are off
The "stage"
Our hosts for this interaction
the first game of the day - guess who eat something which tastes the most horrible
2nd game - this time is drink something
The first group to sing - from ICT
Next game - balloons game

After which, is a performance by Roy (from MDE).

Then is the game of limbo rock
Edy (from MDE) sang too
next activity is musical chairs
There is a 'rocking' chair at the back of the room, used it to take picture with. hahas
The night ended with a group picture.

Reflections:

Blackout is again something unexpected. I guess we have to "expect the unexpected". hahas. Anyway I am glad that the blackout did not stop us from having our lecture, which went quite smoothly.

There are people who will be on the "stage" while the rest are the spectators. The people on stage have to gather up their courage to entertain the spectators, giving their best shot, putting in whole of their efforts! Whereas those as spectators have to give respect to the people entertaining them, which means attention to what they performing at least; is like a form of respect even if the performance is not to your liking. It is like there is a mutual bond between the performers and audience, both wanting a nice and good show.

It is great having such an interaction between us from Singapore and the local students. All thanks to the local students organising. (: It was great fun! Plus we get to know there are some talents among us such as singing and dancing. For those who do not have talents, we must not be downhearted. It does not mean we are useless, instead we can live stronger and find more things in life to be who we are and keep us happy. Furthermore, we are able to take a break from our studies and work to get to enjoy the activities planned out, giving us some feel of what kind of games the local students might play during their own bonding events.
