11th sept
the first time having IS in wuhan university
had to be in class by 9am.
and we reached much earlier to be able to obey punctuality (:
lessons were held in the same classroom as always, 310, where LSCT and MDE students combined together.
The teacher is from the University's Foreign Language school, her name is Anna.
I was quite amazed that her English is quite fluent, easily understand. The lecture by her was on Hubei and Wuhan, such as the history, food and attractions available. One thing about her lecture is that certain powerpoint slides were super wordy, however luckily she had interesting short stories to tell the class and videos to show. I would say she knows her facts and stories well to be able to teach us and keep us interested in this long 3 hours lecture.

After the lessons, we from LSCT had 2 hours break from 12 to 2pm first before having lecture with Dr Tan at the same place. It was an hour video lecture with him, but before that when on the way back to the hostel, i saw

'school of busiess'. Just a wrong spelling, i.e. the missing letter in the word Business, makes the meaning of the word or sentences become meaningless.
Today was nice being able to know more about China and its interesting stories (e.g. Qu Yuan, Zhuge Liang). Though not everything, which is super alot since China has around 5000 years of history, knowing more than what I know is still satisfying. At least I am learning something new. Besides us learning from Anna, I believe that she is also learning from us like gaining an experience of teaching a bunch of foreign students. This is what it is called teacher-student exchange i think. (: Hopefully I will be having such teacher in my other IS lessons to come.
Regarding the missing letter in the word, it tells me that words or sentences can be meaningless or nonsensical or the whole meaning is changed when just one letter is missing or other situations such as misspelt word and missing word. Thus, it seems to be saying "one wrong move can lead to the destruction of the situation", so i guess in life we got to be careful and precise in the decisions or moves we make to prevent wrong consequences from happening. However, I shall add that sometimes wrong decision or move may not be something bad if the person learns from his or her mistake plus such happening is a learning process for him or her to grow into a better person.
